The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
